College Consulting Packages
Signature Package for seniors
Your senior and you will have full support through the entire application process, including the college essay, supplemental essays, introduction videos, the Common App, interviews, and more. I will help track all deadlines and keep your teen organized and on target to meet application deadlines.
preparing to apply for juniors
The junior year is an important time to lay the groundwork for a successful admissions cycle. I will help your teen prepare their college list through thoughtful research and suggestions for college visits. Together, your teen and I will prepare sections of the Common App, create a testing plan, build a high school resume, and much more.
building foundations for sophomores
Sophomores need to focus on getting involved in their high school and community. I will explore options for this with your teen. We will also discuss productive ways to spend the summer months exploring career paths and colleges. I will help you and your teen navigate high school course selections for junior year and lay the groundwork for a thoughtful college admissions cycle.
getting started for freshmen
It is important for freshmen to have a strong plan for how they want to do high school. Planning courses and how to spend time outside of school and during the summer helps a teen consider career paths and college majors. Some freshmen enjoy considering colleges and planning for college visits, too. Getting started with a strong freshman year sets your teen up for future success.
special projects
Some students and families prefer a hybrid approach to college planning. I offer bundles of consulting hours (5- and 10-hour packages) to use on projects of your choice. These packages offer you the flexibility of rolling them into the Junior or Senior package should you decide you want full support with the application project.
My Mission
My mission is to provide expert guidance to combat college admissions anxiety so that teens apply thoughtfully to colleges that are perfect social, academic, and financial fits.
My business name, Bell & Arch, represents my aim to not only get your teen to college, but also through college to graduation. Thoughtfully applying to schools that are perfect fits for your teen helps ensure that they will be happy and successful during their college years. Bell is a nod to a tradition at the University of Tulsa (where I completed my M.A.) to ring the bell located on campus upon graduation. The arch is from my undergraduate years at the University of Georgia where students only walk under the famed arches on Old Campus after graduation.
I will be excited for the opportunity to work with your teen on a strong plan for college admissions so that they will land at the perfect college campus and can engage in fun traditions of their own.
