I am an experienced development director and grant writer. My consulting work is centered on offering affordable services to small to mid-sized nonprofits to help the organizations reach their fundraising goals and continue with their important missions.

- Consulting with organizations on developing grant programs including leveraging the use of your donor database for grant cultivation, creating systems for tracking grant and report deadlines, and best practices for maintaining strong relationships with the gatekeepers at foundations.
- Leading workshops for staff, board members, and volunteers on the nuances and best practices of a robust grants program.

About Jennifer
I am a published author with decades of experience in nonprofit work including working with the development team at two nonprofits, participating as a volunteer, serving as a board member, and managing a private charitable foundation.
My success in grant writing stems from my holistic approach to the craft. I focus on understanding the audience for the grant proposal and creating a proposal that incorporates a balance of storytelling with facts, figures, and measurable outcomes. My goal is a compelling, donor-centric picture of the program at the center of the proposal. I am also adept at creating donor-forward views of program budgets that demonstrate a clear picture of the expenses associated with the program highlighted in the grant proposal.
